![]() ![]() England's shocking dental crisis has forced people to queue at 4am just for the chance to register with a NHS dentist, pay a premium to go private, or go without and risk undertaking their own dreaded DIY dentistry with household tools. ![]() The plan,unveiled by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak today, aims to help the thousands of Brits struggling to see a NHS dentist, with some areas of the country only having one dental professional per 13,000 people. Friend of the family, Jordon Parker, said Mr Edwards was a gentle and intelligent person with a 'bright future ahead of him'.ĭentists could be rooted to providing NHS care for years under radical plans being considered to help fix the nation's dental care crisis, but dentists say 'handcuffing' them to the NHS won't fix the problem. The teenager's cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed and it is not known whether he was in fact suffering with a sinus infection or whether his symptoms were actually being caused by the bleed on his brain. But tragically Mr Edwards suffered a devastating stroke and with no hope of recovery his family made the heartbreaking decision to turn off his life support on June 28. In a bid to alleviate the resulting pressure on the teenager's brain, he was told he would need to be put into an induced coma. The student was then given an MRI scan of his brain, which is when he was told the devastating news that he had a bleed on his brain. It is understood he was taking antibiotics for a sinus infection, but when his symptoms continue to worsen, he went back to hospital on June 13. On June 6 Mr Edwards, who was described as a 'fit and healthy person', took himself to A&E after feeling unwell. Harvey Edwards, 19, from Bristol died in Liverpool after being treated for symptoms of a sinus infection, but scans by medics revealed the model and student had a bleed on his brain. ![]()
